Abstract:Established on March 1, 1993, The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC), a member of IOSCO, is a self-funded statutory body responsible for regulating and developing the Malaysian capital markets. SC said scammers target everyone and take advantage of people when they are most vulnerable. People all over the country can fall victim to scams. These scammers are constantly finding new ways to defraud unsuspecting and vulnerable individuals, regardless of background, age, education, and income level. Many scams disguise themselves as different types of business opportunities to create attractive and "irresistible" scams to defraud investors of their hard-earned money.
