Indian police in Assam arrested a man in connection with the TLC 2.0 cryptocurrency scam. Two other suspects, Nur Alom Ahmed and Akheruzzaman Ahmed, have already been arrested. The police are now looking for a third suspect, Mohabur Rahaman Ahmed, and are tracing Lavish Chaudhury, the founder of Botbro and TLC Coin.

TLC 2.0 was a crypto scam that worked through a multi-level marketing system. The scam promised high returns to investors by claiming to use “AI-based forex trading,” but it was all false.

The three victims contacted police today about this fraud as they lost their hard-earned money. The probe indicated that Mohabur Rahaman Ahmed had a crucial role in the cryptocurrency scam. He recruited new investors to be his subordinates. This fraud network grew locally over time as transactions between various bank accounts proceeded.

The police got significant proof proving Mohabur Rahaman Ahmed's involvement in the cryptocurrency scam known as 'TLC 2.0' (also known as 'Trillionaire Crypto').

During the raid, the police seized a cell phone, a laptop, 10 ATM cards, two passbooks, five checkbooks, two ATM swipe machines, and Rs. 25 lakh in cash.
